I can’t upload my music library?

What happens when you try? Do you get an error message, and if so what is it? See About iCloud Music Library icons and status - Apple Support. Use the Songs view with the iCloud download and status columns enabled. Any clues there?

When I push the download button the song starts to download but then stops in the middle of the download.
Hmm. I thought you were having trouble uploading songs? You will have trouble downloading anything that didn't get uploaded. What is the iCloud Status of the particular song you mentioned above?
