The PES file type is associate with the Computer aided manufacturing process. It is use to generate embroidery designs and images for Babylock, Brother, or Bernina Home Embroidery Formats. These files can easily be created using Coreldraw or using the dedicated softwares for the embroidery machines.

DST files that are used by the AutoCAD software contain drawing sheet files that have been created with the application. These sheets contain drawing layouts that have been extracted from multiple drawing files to be delivered to the end user.

The Orchida Embroidery System also uses the .dst file suffix. These DST files contain graphic files that are used by the software. The graphic designs are relayed to an embroidery machine to show the machine what embroidery design to create.
