Used Apple Watch 2

Bought apple watch at flea market from individual seller, saw that it worked, however when trying to pair/setup later whoever had it previously still has their apple id associated with it preventing me from using mine. Anyway to get around that? I have no idea who the person was who sold it to me at the market. Support documentation talks as if you know the seller (I.e. have them remove it). I don't in this case.

No, Apple will not assist you in bypassing the original owner's lock. This could be a stolen watch and Apple won't facilitate using it.
