i have an old iPhone that i want to use as a media player mostly music so i charged it forgot the password now its disabled cant connect it to iTunes because i have to enter my password
what should i do ?

If your Home button is not working you may need to contact Apple Support for assistance as described in the article provided in the previous reply:
"If you can't update or restore your device using recovery mode, or you can't use recovery mode because of broken or stuck buttons, contact Apple Support. Then follow the steps to set up service for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch."

but see the problem is i dont have a computer that my phone is synced with and my home button does not work so i cant put my phone into recovery mode
thats my only problem I already know how to restore my phone

but it seems that every thing has a problem with today the apple support is giving me an error that says they were unable to complete my request same thing happened yesterday
