iTunes card troubles

i got an iTunes card for christmas and i tried to log it in today using the camera scanner. the iTunes app shut down, i closed the app and opened it again to rescan the code and it says the code has already been used, but it has not put the money into my iTunes account. how can i fix this?

Have you tried logging out and back into the account and seeing if the account's balance updates ? If it doesn't, contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww
