The Apple U.S. Keyboard will insert an symbol using shift+option+K. However, Unicode has assigned the Apple logo as a private use character, so that on Apple products it will appear as the Apple Symbol, and on Windows computers, it may be filled in by a Windows logo, or a white box because no comparable font character was found. It could be just about any character that any application or operating system chooses to substitute, and thus, there is no universal Apple logo unicode character, web page, or document portable character for the Apple logo.

On Apple computers, the hexcode is #F8FF.
