Do Not Disturb Function

Some of my contacts have individually set to do not disturb. How do I fix it so that I get their notifications? Any solution gratefully received!

The easiest I think is to go into messages, select a message from that contact, select their picture at the top and then select info. Turn Hide Alerts to off.
