Anyone know when the next update is? I'm looking at the list of cameras that apple is compatible with (for raw files) and my camera isn't on there, my old camera is (sony a6000) but don't see sony a6500 on there. Just curious when they will fix this. I also see a bunch of cameras not on the list.
Assuming you are on El Capitan as you are posting in the El Capitan community, Apple only updates it's Camera Raw database on its most recent OS which is now Mojave. El Capitan has stopped receiving updates of any kind since Mojave was introduced.
If you want to keep on top of the Camera Raw database you would need to upgrade to Mojave, but your Mac may well be too old to upgrade and if it could it may not have a compatible graphics card.
If you need to use your raw files on your El Capitan Mac you could download Adobes DNG Converter, it is free, but the latest version requires macOS Sierra or above.

As fellow users, we have no idea with regard to Apple product release schedules, or on their timeframe for receiving actionable information from the camera vendors. If in fact, you are on El Capitan, then it has dropped off of the normal three-year sliding window for product and security updates, so no more camera raw updates either.
Check to make sure your applications are compatible.
Also check to make sure there is a compatible driver for your printer.
Do a backup before installing, preferable 2 backups on 2 different drives.
