insurance help

I bought a mac book air for my daughter this summer but didn't give it to her until Christmas. I forgot to buy insurance on it. Where can I buy insurance on the computer because it is past the 60 days?

You will need to check with your home insurance company to see if you can add the computer which would be for theft or loss; Applecare is only available for the first 60 days after purchase and extends your warranty to a total of 3 years (which is better than regular insurance as it covers hardware and software problems). You can also do a search online for computer coverage or warranty, but be aware that any place that isn't specializing in Macs and is far away may not be a good choice as they would not know how to fix a Mac hardware issue.
