Apple Music Has Created Duplicates In My I-Tunes Library

Since converting to Apple Music, the structure of my I-Tunes library has changed. I've ended up with numerous duplicates. Under "I-Cloud Status" the songs will be either "Matched" "Uploaded" or "Purchased" with the download icon opposite the tune. These are the ones that are duplicated. Do I need to keep these? It is my understanding that my entire library is available in the cloud. If any Apple Music users in the community can explain this, I would be grateful. JEFF

Whole Music library is duplicated Hi! I have a fairly big Music Library (around 25,000 titles.) Now every single song is showing up twice. The funny thing: one version has the cloud symbol with the arrow, giving me the option to download it. The other version has the cloud with the x through it ("removed from iCloud.") But the latter ones are actually on my hard drive. (See picture) So my questions are: How do I remove the duplicates? Which version do I keep? Or would it be better to completely rebuild my library from the files on my hard disk?

Duplicate Songs after signing up for Apple Music I recently signed up for Apple Music, and when I loaded up iTunes on my computer I was distressed to find that EVERY song had been duplicated. This question has been asked other times: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7562836 But the given answer to just search for duplicates and delete every other one just doesn't ring true. There must be a better solution!
