Random Desktop Wallpaper Changing Behaves Improperly.
It would work fine with Tiger and Leopard. But, its behavior in Snow Leopard is a bit weird.
When I start up my MBP, a random image appears for the background wallpaper as usual. But in 2~3 seconds, it changes the wallpaper to the specific image, which is one of the files in the folder I use for wallpaper, every time.
5 minutes later, another random image appears so there is no problem with random wallpaper changing feature. But it's quite irritating me to see the same wallpaper every time I reboot.
Is that the only vice? If only. Right after the boot, it shows me the proper random image in the first place. But as I said right before, 2~3 seconds later, it changes to the same image every time without fade-in/fade-out effect (a.k.a. dissolve effect.) It looks really inferior.
I formatted my MBP several times, and re-installed Snow Leopard as well. It doesn't get fixed. It might not be the severe problem and that is why Apple doesn't care about it. But to me, it is quite a big reason to doubt the quality of Snow Leopard.
Anyone has an idea about it? If you find it hard to understand what I explained, tell me. I can record it and upload to YouTube so you can see what is the problem.
