Where is the movie file after sharing to Theater

So I shared a finished project to Theater. What is the location of that file on my desktop?

Add hidden movies back into library without downloading I've purchased hundreds of movies. Months ago I decided to hide many of them but keep the files on my hard drive; that option was offered. Now I have unhidden those titles. On a hunch I right-clicked on one of them, and "download" was the only option. There doesn't seem to be a way to reconnect the titles with the files already on my computer I don't want to re-download everything unnecessarily and use up my monthly data allowance! If I can't just use the files on my hard drive, why was that option offered when I hid the titles in the first place? To clarify, I want to play these movies on the computer where they are stored, not on a mobile device or the AppleTV box.

How can I retrieve all my movies from Theater now that's it's been removed? So Apple has gotten rid of theater, and I can no longer upload to this convenient feature for watching movies on my Apple TV. What happens to all my movies in Theater? I no longer have the iMovie files that I used to create the original movies on older machines. How can I retrieve all my movies from Theater? And why in is that Apple has decided to get rid of Theater, and totally screw everyone with a Theater library? Wonder what Google users would do if they took the same action with YouTube?

Hi,

In the Movies folder in Finder there is a folder titled iMovie Theater.Theater. Control click on the folder and select Show Package Contents from the drop down menu. You will see a list of Archive folders that contain the Theater movies. Click on an Archive folder to reveal a list by name of the movies contained in it. Click on a movie title to play it. The movie can also be copied (Edit/Copy, Edit/Paste) to your desktop and played as a standalone.

The Theater movies are also located in the Theater browser in the iMovie app. These are independent movies that can be dragged or copied to your desktop.
