Apple Music Not Creating Playlists

When I try and make a new playlist on Apple Music I finish adding all the songs I want and then I click “done” then, in place of the “done” button appears a loading circle, which just continues to buffer and the playlist is not created or saved, and I cannot play the music from that playlist. I then cannot play any music, and I have to force close the app and swipe it out of my recents. When I reload/reopen the app, the new playlist I created is not there and I continue to not be able to create any new playlists.
