can't connect to printer due to a fault

Hey there,


A few days ago my dad suddenly couldn't print wirelessly from our HP pagewide pro. I deleted the printer and wanted to reinstall it. He finds the printer but when I want to install it I get the message 'Couldn't connect to printer due to a fault. Do you want to continue installing the printer manually?'. When I continue to install the printer it still won't print. Can anyone help me? I have no problem printing wirelessly from this printer with my MacBook Pro, nor do I have a problem with the windows pc's. My dad has a MacBook Pro as well. Everything updated to the latest software.

If I understand your post correctly, you can print from your MacBook Pro but your dad can't print to the same printer from his MacBook Pro. I’d like to help.
