No sound on audio book

I try restarting both the app and the phone still doesn’t play

The audio works perfectly with the all other apps except for the audiobooks please help

Which app are you using? Is it a built-in app, or one that was downloaded from the App Store?


Also, what's the source for the audio books in question?


Does the audio book seem to play, but just has no sound? If that's correct, try pressing play and adjusting your volume with the buttons on the side of your device; does it give any pop-up on the screen indicating the volume is changing like it would with other apps, or does nothing happen?


Which iOS version are you using under Settings > General > About, and which iPhone are you using? If it's earlier than iOS 12.1.2 and you have an iOS 12-compatible device, here's How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. After updating, test it out to see if this has resolved the issue!
