Ipad screen acting weird ?

Lately i had my Ipad (model 2016) acting very weird !

After a couple of minutes of use, i got the screen suddenly starts flickering and jumping from one application/email or page to another one, without even touching the ipad !

Then it keeps flickering and shifting for 15 seconds or more, then suddenly stops.

Other times I got the screens freezing and I cannot press any button to cancel it, except doing a forced shut down.

I would appreciate if you have ever experienced such " bug " issue to guide me how to fix it ?

Hello Patmatbkk,

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. I understand you've been encountering some issues with your iPad.

It sounds like you're able to resolve the issue temporarily by force-restarting, but you find it happens again shortly after. Is that right?

If so, I recommend the steps in the "If your device turns on but gets stuck during start up" section of the link below. These will help you put the iPad into recovery mode to attempt updating it in iTunes, which may resolve the behavior even if you're already up-to-date: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen.

If iTunes is unable to update the device, it may prompt you to restore instead. If you have a backup, I recommend proceeding with the restore. You can use this to check for any recent iCloud or iTunes backups: Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Hi Sarah,

thanks for the feedback. I will try to restore to original set up, after saving photos and files in icloud.
