Missing Standard Toolbar when opening Excel

When I open Excel I don't have my standard toolbar. So I then click on View then toolbars and standard is checked. In order for me to get the standard toolbar to turn on or be viewed I have to uncheck standard and then check it again and then I can see the standard toolbar. However, once I close Excel and reopen it the standard toolbar is missing again and I have to go through the same steps and it is getting annoying. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.

HI,

When I open Excel I don't have my standard toolbar.

You have posted in the Safari forum so I can only assume you are having problems withe the Safari Toolbar??

If you are having problems with the Safari Tool bar go to View/Customize Toolbar.

If that doesn't help, Go to the Safari Menu Bar, click Safari/Preferences. Make note of all the preferences under each tab. Quit Safari. Now go to ~/Library/Preferences and move this file com.apple.safari.plist to the Desktop.

Relaunch Safari and see if that makes a difference. If not, move the .plist file back to the Preferences folder. If Safari functions as it should, move that .plist file to the Trash.
