My iPhone 8 Plus won’t charge

My iPhone won’t charge anymore. When I plug it in it says this accessory may not be supported. I have the same exact cord from the box when I got the iPhone. I have restarted my phone. What do I do and how do I fix it?

Have you checked the charging port for dust/dirt/lint? Use a bright light to peer inside, then clean with a soft dry brush, or dry toothpick.

Make sure that your phone is updated to the latest os and that the charging cable is not Cut or damaged. Make sure that the Power Point is on and that the charger is receiving power (try another Power Point to test). Try a new charging plug and cable.

If the phone is still not charging take it into a certified Apple repair center.
