I thought if you ICloud Storage free but iPad storage is almost full you could still download movies? It says almost full abs will not let me download. Any help

iCloud storage can be used to free up some space on your iPad. But to watch a movie on your iPad, you will have to download it to the iPad and there needs to be space for it on the iPad. You will need to free up some space on your iPad.
