When I attempt to use my iPad as an iTunes remote it doesn't work right. iTunes detects the remote, and I put in the PIN, and everything seems OK. But then it iPad complains that it cannot read my Library and there must be some network problem.

It seems specific to Windows, as on the same network the iPad is able to control my MacBook fine.

Any ideas?

    I've configured it to work with home sharing and typed in the remote pin code, still remote didn't work. Never finds any songs..


    How do I fix this? I tried rebooting the ipad but didn't work for me with this issue. I'm using Windows 7 x64 btw.
