AppleTV 4 gen not restoring (Error 4005)

Hoping someone can help out.

I recently turned on my AppleTV and found the screen reading "Support.apple.com/appletv/restore."

Following the instructions on the page I plugged my AppleTV into my laptop/iTunes and started the update/restore process. However, once it extracts the software the status bar reads "waiting for AppleTV" which after a couple minutes I get a prompt reading "The Apple TV "Apple TV" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (4005)." I tried holding down the menu and TV screen button but it didn't do anything.

Does anyone have any other ideas? I'm typing this as I wait on hold for Apple Support, it's been 35 min without anyone answering.
