Iphone 8 has been in water but can still see colors on the screen, and vibrates when I get a new notification. HELP!
The screen on my iphone 8 has been replaced once and did not have sealant added with it, so that could be why it got damaged. My iphone got rained on, and when I checked it, and turned on just fine, I still had the phone on, when the screen went black. When I turned it back on it just had colored streaks running down the phone. That night I opened the phone up and sure enough there was water inside. So I put it in rice hoping it would try over night. The next morning I checked it, inside and out, and everything, was dry, but this time nothing would turn on, it was just a black screen. So I decided to charge it for a couple hours. First I used a wireless charger. When I set it on the wireless charger it vibrated, but nothing popped up on the screen, it was just black. A few hours later while letting it charge wireless, I decided to use wired. Same thing happened. Vibrated, but still a black screen. Hours later, I decided to use the volume, and power reset (dont know what it is called). All of a sudden their was a grey screen with a blue, and black line running down the middle. Then it changed to a black screen with red streaks throughout, but still cant control the phone. Can someone please tell me what part of the phone is internally damaged, and what should I do?
