Who can see your browsing history in private mode?

Private means that Safari doesn't keep a history of what you do, but that has no effect on external actors. So websites you visit will have a record of your visit. If you're on a network owned by someone else - your employer ot school for instance, then they will still have a record. And your Internet Service Provider has everything.

you cannot view your own history and so others can also not what you viewed in the device 


This is incorrect. Your entire browsing history can be viewed by your ISP, or in the case of any network that you do not directly control (for instance, work, school or even coffee shops, hotel and the like) by whoever owns or controls that network, if they choose to track it.


Put this way: Private Browsing might hide what naughty boys are browsing from their Moms, but absolutely nobody else.
