I want to buy a Smart Keyboard for my iPad Pro 10.5 in but would rather have the Smart Keyboard Folio that protects the back of my iPad. Would the Smart Keyboard Folio designed for the iPad Pro 11inch fit my 10.5inch?

No. The smart folio keyboard for iPad Pro 11 is specific to iPad Pro 11. There are loads of keyboard cases you can get for your 10.5" pro on Amazon and for much less money.
I'm sure this is why they corrected this when they released the new Folio cases for the new Pro line 2018. But to be honest, the Apple Case, while good lacks a lot for the money, including backlit keys, which can be had on many other Bluetooth keyboards for significantly less money.

Thanks for your response. I am looking hard at the Logitech Slim Combo. The Apple version is definitely out of contention for me.
