Hello shadfrommilan,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you’re having trouble getting to your home screen using the digital crown on your Apple Watch. I’m happy to help. If you haven’t already, I suggest restarting your Apple Watch and making sure the software is updated:

Update your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Should that not help, I suggest cleaning the Apple Watch to make sure nothing is blocking the digital crown from being pushed in:

How to clean your Apple Watch - Apple Support

If the above doesn’t help, I suggest unpairing your Apple Watch and setting it up again. Your watch will automatically create a backup when you unpair, so as long as you restore from that backup when setting it up again, you should not lose any data.

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Set up your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Let me know if that helps.

Take care.

Is it possible you accidentally got into "Water Lock". If that is the case, you rotate the Digital Crown server times until it expels water from the speaker and unlocks the watch.

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205000

When you start a swimming workout, your Apple Watch automatically locks the screen with Water Lock

to avoid accidental taps. When you're done, turn the Digital Crown to

unlock the screen and clear any water from your Apple Watch. You hear

sounds and may feel some water on your wrist.

To manually clear water from Apple Watch, swipe up on the bottom of

the watch face to open Control Center, tap Water Lock, then turn the

Digital Crown to unlock the screen and clear water from the speaker.

If I press the crown on my watch it no longer takes me to my apps.
