Somehow I entered Private Browsing on my iPad. I want to disable it and go back to regular browsing but am unable to find instructions for doing so. Elsewhere it was posted that all I needed to do was go to Safari and click on the double folders to exit private browsing. However, when I click on Safari the double folders are not displayed.
I followed you're previous instructions as instructed but they didn't work which is why I replied "Nope." I turned the iPad off and restarted it. This allowed me to see Private at the top so I could click on it and disable it and return to normal browsing. Problem solved.

You may try using 2 fingers to pinch if you don't see the tab icon.
Nope...I'm still looking at a dark screen.
You do realize I can't see what you have or have not done, right? "Nope" doesn't tell me much.
