Scan-from-PC settings

This window keeps popping up on start up or restart. I've tried going to System Preferences/Users & Groups/Login Items and chose Canon IJ Network and Printer Pro Desk Top but nothin has changed. Nothing shows in the Scan-from-PC start up window. I updated the drivers for my Canon MX922 with no effect. I have a new iMac with macOS Mojave v 10.14.2.

Everything is working. I just can stop the window from showing up. Any ideas?

Merely choosing the program in Login Items won't do anything. If you do not want the program to launch every time you log in, select it in Login Items as you did, and then click the [–] button. It will disappear from the list (but it won't delete the program itself).

Read about Login Items here: Open items automatically when you log in.

You probably don't need the Canon scanning software anyway. Read Mac Basics: Using a scanner.
