Hardware upgrade would require buying a new Apple Watch. You might be able to offset the cost of a new Apple Watch by selling the current Apple Watch.

If you do want new hardware, and you plan on selling your existing Apple Watch, or giving it to another family member, you should follow the instructions on this webpage

Can you please give us something to work with. We cannot see your Apple Watch. We can not see the iPhone "Watch" app on your iPhone.

We have to know why the information provided did not help.

What happened when you tried anything suggested?

Have you also upgraded your iPhone to the lastest version iOS 12.1.2 before you attempted to upgrade your Apple Watch?

Or you could make a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple store, and get the store staff to help you do your upgrade.
