Software issues on iPhone XS
So my XS has hardware issues and still under warranty. First they want me to pay $29.00 for them to ship me my replacement phone. I’m not a rich man and live basically paycheck to paycheck. I get to thinking and one to the conclusion that I shouldn’t have to pay for shipping on a phone under warranty (especially Apple’s warranty)and call to see if they’d wave the $29.00 so I don’t have to wait until Monday for my new phone. Dude does some checking and comes back and says they can wave the $29.00(cool right)but only to follow with we’ll have to hold $1000.00 from my checking acct to assure that I send back my phone. I say what, $1000, I don’t have $1000.00 in my acct and if I did we wouldn’t be having this conversation. Then to make things worse I find out that even if I did pay the $29.00 they still want to hold the $1000.00 to ship phone. The chick the day before didn’t say one word about holding $1000.00. Long story short , I’m done with Apple. I thought they were better people than this. This will be the last Apple product that will come into my home and tomorrow I’m switching to Android. Not sure which phone yet. It’s a shame because I really like my iPhones and that’s all I’ve ever bought when I switched over and got my first iPhone which was the iPhone 4 and I still have it. Bye bye Apple. Better learn how to respect your customer and won’t treat them like they’re thieves
