Connecting the new MacBook Pro to an older Thunderbolt monitor

Anyone know how to connect the new MacBook Pro with a USB C to the old Thunderbolt monitor that uses a thunderbolt 2 male connector? The old Thunderbolt monitor was produced by Apple a few years back.
