Can I use my iMac as a display for a windows PC?

The reason for this is:

I have a brand new iMac (2018 model) in my office, it is great for everything but my medical software. The software I use for my medical practice is only on windows.

Now I use a Windows RDP session on our own server and it works great.

But we will get a hardware soon, with the server moving to a host and thin clients in our offices. The supplier won't support my iMac (and there is no competition for this supplier unfortunately).

So my idea is to use my iMac as a display for the thin client, but as part of one of the Mac screens you can swipe between.

Anyone an idea how to do this? Is it possible?

Cheers
