Grayed Out PDF Files within Keynote

I have saved a number of PDF documents within Keynote. Those documents appear within Keynote. However, I cannot select or open them. They seem grayed out and unavailable for use.

When I open the files directly through files or through their app they open completely normal. Any suggestions?

Can't drag pdf thumbnails from Preview into Keynote I need to insert individual pages of a multi-page PDF into Keynote. Usually I open the PDF in Preview and drag the thumbnails into slides, and that has consistently worked well. However, after updating to Keynote 8.2 a few days ago that process now throws following error:"The file <filename>(dragged).pdf could not be opened because there is no such file. The file does not exist."I would prefer not to have to chop up multi-page PDFs into individual files just to insert them in presentations. I've never hit that error before; is there some different way I can save/name the file so that Keynote will allow me to drag it in?

Keynote After the last update of keynote I can't open any of my files! What can I do? I have hundreds of presentations that no longer work! How can I open these files?

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to view some PDF files that show up in Keynote. To help with your situation, see if you can open these files in the Files app on your iPad.
