Macbook air microphone picks up computer sounds

My MacBook Air microphone picks up the computer sounds along with what I speak, even if I use headphones. I've checked for this in system preferences, Skype's echo testing system and Discord's settings, and the problem happens the same in all three cases. Any sound that's being played through my computer such as youtube videos, music or game sounds, gets picked up loud and clear along with my voice.

How can I make it so that the only thing going into the microphone is my voice?

All tests were made with a set of iPhone headphones.

Hi Bucão,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand you're using your EarPods when recording audio to your Mac and that you're seeing a lot of background noise picked up. I can understand why you'd reach out about this; I'd like to help. I'd recommend using the steps here to capture less background noise when using the microphone: Change the sound input settings on Mac

The steps may only affect the built in microphone on your Mac. If you're unable to adjust this for the microphone on your EarPods, you can let Apple know this is a feature you'd like to see in the future here: Product Feedback

Best Regards.
