AIRPODS CRACK NEAR THE BASE

This is my 4th replacement pair, and without any force or drop, the magnetic metal piece (base) to about 1/4 inch is cracked. I paid good money for these and I don't want to worry about damage, when it is manufacturers defect. My guess is that it has to do with the impact when placing the airpods in the charging doc (magnet), but it should not be this fragile, especially for how much I paid for them!

AirPods damaged my left Earpod has broken and the bit that goes in your ear has completely popped out and you can see the wires, this now means they are unusable. It was not to do with dropping or damaging them it just cracked and popped out. I was wondering what your policy is on replacing them? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
