I have upgraded my iMac mid 2010 with Memory to 16G and a secondary 1T SSD, but can I update video card so this machine is compatible with the new OS Mojave?

Here are the details. The Metal-capable iMacs (Late 2012 and newer) do not have a separate gfx card. All the video hardware is soldered to and integral with the logic board. The little specks under the heat sink are the gfx hardware:

The 2010 iMac has a separate, although rather odd, "card" similar to this:

No "card" with the form factor your computer requires supports Metal technology.

Your Mac doesn't have graphics that support Metal. They weren't available until Late 2012.
