Face ID without swipe up?
A couple months ago, I upgraded to the XS. I used face ID, and it automatically opened (without the swipe up step). I now have a different xs (switched carriers), and I have to swipe up... what happened?

Nothing.
You have to swipe up after unlocking with FaceID, it has not changed.
