How much would it cost to fix Touch ID?

My home button works perfectly fine, but anytime I restart my old iPhone 6s, it gives me a message saying Touch ID could not be activated. If I were to bring it to an Apple store, would it cost anything to get this fixed? And if so, how much? I live in the US, Massachusetts to be exact, if that helps at all. Thanks!
