My home button works perfectly fine, but anytime I restart my old iPhone 6s, it gives me a message saying Touch ID could not be activated. If I were to bring it to an Apple store, would it cost anything to get this fixed? And if so, how much? I live in the US, Massachusetts to be exact, if that helps at all. Thanks!

Did you, at any point, have the display replaced by someone other than Apple? If so, Apple won't touch that phone.
How much would it cost to fix Touch ID?
