How can I scroll through slides using my mouse wheel?

In microsoft powerpoint, if you are zoomed to fit the slide to your screen, you can just scroll down using the mouse wheel and it will go to the next slide. But in keynote it just scrolls down the currently selected window, which I find pointless. How do I change it so that the mouse wheel = go to next slide?

You need to select what you want to scroll, the slide or the Navigator

click on one of the slides in the navigator
use the mouse scroll wheel
the scroll bar must be visible for this to action; where more slides are available than there is room to display (arrowed)

Thank you for your reply. But this is not what I meant. What I meant is how to scroll down and the preview of the slide move to the next one, instead of scrolling down the left navigator and click the next slide.
