How to reset iPhone with no computer or internet connection

Hello! We're vacationing in Africa and don't have access to a computer. My daughter reset her passcode to her iPhone out of boredom on the plane and promptly forgot it 😖. Is there anyway to do a hard reset of an iPhone without a computer or internet connection?

Thanks!

If the phone is disabled no, you will have to connect it to a computer's iTunes : If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

If it's not yet disabled and if Find iPhone is enabled on it and the phone is online, you could try using Find iPhone app from another iOS device to send a remote wipe message to it

Mar 2018 - Possible (unverified) tip on recovering from a disabled state if you have no access to a computer but do have access to another mobile device and a recent backup - https://discussions.apple.com/message/33099578#message33099578 - Use Find My iPhone app or computer iCloud login to erase disabled device and then restore the device from its backup.
