Xserve RAID set "battery is pre-charging and can't be read"

Xserve 2,1 Early 2008. Reloaded OS successfully and 2 days later I get the message "battery is pre-charging and can't be read" . RAID set battery seems to be failing and it's not charging after being left on for a day. Is it possible to replace the battery for this device?

Found a replacement battery online for the RAID controller, and directions for its replacement.

MacBook Pro Battery Drains while Plugged into External Monitor and RAID Hey All, I have a 2019 MacBook Pro and use a LG 4K UltraFine monitor, while my laptop is plugged into the monitor it stays fully charged no issues. However, I recently purchased a LaCie 8 TB External RAID drive for extra storage. When I have all both the LaCie and LG plugged into my laptop the battery drains within about 3 hours even though the icon says it should be charging. I can easily unplug the LaCie when I get the low power notification, but it can be inconvenient as sometimes I will be working from files stored on the drive. Is there anyway around this issue or are others having it? Thanks! brennen50 Note: both the LaCie and LG were purchased directly from apple as well.
