Question is using 'get info' when managing files my mac.
I have used 'get info' for the data details of individual files or groups of files since I had my Mac.
Today when I try to 'get info' for a group of files it is displaying 'get info' of EACH individual file NOT as a group.
Has anyone an idea what has occurred to cause this problem and how I can rectify it?

Before you select Get Info hold down the OPTION key and select Show Inspector.
Well, it's been around for many years so it's nothing new. How you managed otherwise I don't know. Perhaps you used it to find info on a folder of files by selecting the folder rather than individual files. Nevertheless, it's unrelated to installing macOS.

Thank you for the information - it worked and I am now able to see information on group files again.
Do you know whether this requirement to view info is a result of changes by installing Mojave - I've always been able to do group info as individual file info just by selecting 'get info'? It doesn't matter if you don't know as I am able to get the information I require - I'm just curious.
Thanks for your help - I'm not sure how it worked previous to this weekend - at least I have a way around.
