call using iphone grayed out on mac facetime

Can't call or receive calls using iPhone from MacBook pro or iMac, "the call using iPhone" option in facebook is grayed out. The functionality works okay from the iPad. And it worked on the Macs until recently. I have logged out of iCloud and facebook on MacBook and re-logged in and nothing seems to change. Running Mojave 10.14.2. Had version 11 on iPhone, just updated to 12.1.2, doesn't make any difference.

Facetime call answered on new mac is not connected to calling phone I just migrated to a new mac, and now when a call comes into my iPhone, it also pops up on the Mac (facetime - like it should) - HOWEVER when I answer on the mac - the call is never connected. The calling party just continues to hear ringing, or going straight to voicemail. MAC os: 10.15.5 ios: 13.5. (but same behavior on all IOS's and non-IOS phones).

Allow Calls on Other Devices Allow Calls on Other Devices is not working, but both my MacBook and my iPhone are synced in Apple ID and on FaceTime. From my MacBooks end, calls on other devices is active, but on my phone, it keeps giving me the same message. I did recently switch Apple IDs, so there may be something with this.

Cannot make Iphone calls on Mac Facetime I am trying to use my Mac to make calls through my Iphone. I get the message that my Iphone is not configured to use this Mac. I go into Iphone Phone settings and try to turn on "Calls on Other Devices." I get n error message "Cannot Turn on Calls on Other Devices" because "Facetime and Icloud must be signed in to the same Apple ID to enable Calls on other Devices." They are on the same ID and are on the same WiFi. This makes no sense at all, but I cannot find a way to solve it.
