Could someone please tell me what should be the power of iPad 5th gen 9.7" power supply? Mine is 10W and it charges iPad pretty slow, I am not sure if I didn't mistake it with power supply of someone, because I think it was charging faster in the past.

I am pretty sure that is a 12W power Adapter. I have an iPad 6th Generation and it came with a 12W charger but I did some research and the 5th Generation iPad came with a 12W charger at least since June 2017. If you want a 12W power adapter, you can buy one for $20 at Apple 12W USB Power Adapter - Apple. A 10W charger should work fine with any iPad except the new iPad Pro.

Yes, you are correct. It is 12W. If the OP is using a 10W charging brick, it will charge a bit slower, but not appreciably slower. He should get the 12W official Apple Brick and see if it makes a difference.
It is probably that batteries degrade over time so the capacity and lifespan of the battery are shorter than when you first got the iPad.
