Mojave download will not open Macbook Air mid 2012

My Macbook air downloads the Mojave update, the full 6GB version. When I try to open installer it fails, closing with no notice, error etc. Sometimes it's immediate, some times it's right after the click on the T&C's. Never gets past T&Cs.

"Installation Failure" of Mojave 10.14.1 MacBookPro Software update from Mojave 10.14 to 10.14.1 failed. Cannot install software update despite numerous attempts. Keep receiving notification of "Software Update" but when I try to install, receive "Installation failed" message. Have run Disk Utility, no probelms found and I had no problem when originally installing Mojave 10.14 when it became available. We had internet issues recently which may have interrupted the original installation(?) of Mojave update but now I seem stuck in a loop.

MacBook Pro won't install Mojave My latest version is the Sierra 10.12.6 and overtime I have tried to install a newer version. Every time it pops up an error "This copy of the Install MacOS Mojave application is damaged, and can't be used to install macOS". Ive downloaded InstallOS.dmg...reading things off google I was told that could be a problem but even with the download I am unable to install anything...after Ive restarted my computer. I don't know where to go from here. HELP! Please.

It may be worth restarting your Mac in Safe Mode, then trying to install macOS 10.14 Mojave from there to fix the problem.
