Deafult Archive Utility corrupting files

I just got my new iMac Pro and have only used Mojave on here.

I usually right-click a folder and use the default Archive Utility to compress files into a .zip.

When we try and open those on the iPad with the iZip app which usually works, then export/open the file in say the Procreate app it shows the files are corrupt.

If I unzip the file on my desktop and put them on Dropbox I have no issues opening.

Those without Mojave (that we can find) can unzip them them on their desktop but they still get file errors when they try to open the files.

So my question is the Default Archive Utility not able to work with other operating systems?
