When you go to iCloud here do the photos show up?

If you want to sync photos between your phone and the MBP the simplest way to do this is via PhotoStream. You can do this with or without also storing them in iCloud. Depends how much you want to pay for iCloud storage.

Thanks for your reply. If I could use Photo Stream instead of iCloud, this means that I cannot save them to my Library?
