Apple TV not fitting full screen

We have never had this problem before, but I accidentally laid my leg on the Apple TV remote in the middle of a movie and now the screen has shrank to half the size of the full tv screen. We have turned it on and off, tried the zoom on/off, checked resolution, tried turning underscan on/off/auto, tried the triple tap on the touchpad and nothing has worked. Any suggestions?!
