Mark a message as Priority in iMessage

Messages doesn’t have any options for setting priority levels for messages.
The Mail app supports marking received emails as important by doing a short swipe left on the message, and then choosing More > Mark... > Flag, or choosing the flag icon at the bottom left of an individual message. But unfortunately the same system isn’t supported in Messages.
