Spacebar doesn't work on specific website (Chrome and Firefox)

Hello,

I started a training process to work on chat platform online, but I had a big issue since the platform was not showing the spaces between the words. When I tried to type in a message, the same goes for the space. I hit the spacebar, but still no space is "written" down.

Any suggestions?

I tried on Chrome and Firefox.

I'm running on a Mac Pro with OS X Yosemite.
