Awful experience with Apple
Dear Apple Team,
It's been really a terrible experience with my iphone 7, the moment guys introduced firmware version 12.1.12. To my surprise, the headsets and connector stopped working provided by you guys at the time of purchase. I do agree the fact that my iphone was out of warantty period but being a successful organization, you guys should understand if there is any failure due to a firmware upgrade which ultimately impacted the hardware component (sound routing) then it should be accepted to be a problem created by you guys (s/w, h/w and firmware etc.).
You guys may be earning revenues in millions/billions etc but for us as a common serviceman it is certainly a big cause of worry. For more details, you can refer to my case# 100697932734 and below is my last conversation with your senior technical advisor:

Appreciate your sincere efforts and support in helping to get this problem highlighted to relevant department. I feel really happy to discuss this with someone who genuinely tried his level best to understand the issue and didn't deliberately enforced the problem back to the customer.
I have given the feedback based on the discussion we had today on the Apple portal. Request your further help in getting this escalated to next level management. Agreed, my phone was not under warranty coverage but at the same time if this has happened due to firmware upgrade, why apple is not ready to own the responsibility. This may possibly be a manufacturing defect and could have got elevated with the firmware upgrade (I know not all products go for QA inspection and this one might have been missed in the lot). Based on the condition of the phone, there are no external damages then how come this can be simply ignored and considered as a hardware damage.
I am very sure this issue has not been fully discussed/understood by the relevant department and certainly they are backing out from taking the ownership of the problem.
